  • every time I watch this part, I cry. I find it very courageous how Bobby carries Carol to safety. Even when she is too heavy for him to carry.

    True love in the flesh.

  • Of course it is nice.Because he loves her.But the end is very sad,he moves away with his mother and never sees her again. Many years after he gets the information that she died.He returns to that place and the only person that he finds is her daughter.

  • @ShadesAndBoots I'm reading the book now, and yeah, the whole movie is different than the book, I'm kind of glad I watched the movie first, reading the book and getting such a different take on the story first would have probably let me down. Hard to imagine that though, this movie is so fantastically made, I give it as many thumbs as I could sever up!

  • I love the movie and i prefered its story on the one in the book,it focuses more in human relationships more than in supernatural.

  • I am reading this book again right now. King is the reason why I wanted to be a writer.

  • doesnt it look like at 2:54 like she is carrying him

  • @Mydnytefantasy89 I haven't seen the movie, but I've read the book. They changed the ending. The first section with Bobby's childhood is my favorite part of the book.

  • Loved this move to bad it was so under-appreciated.

  • I love this movie, haven't seen it before today. on a hunt for the Stephen King movies I've missed out on, this was one of them, I was so surprised to see that it was Stephen King, this is not his typical work, however the ending was very Stephen King.

  • this is honestly one of the best movies i have ever seen in my life. everyone was so perfect in their role. i especially feel sad that kids now and even when i was growing up, can't just go into the woods, lie on a log and read a book like carol is. the world's become so dangerous and scary that precautions have almost snuffed out certain wonders of childhood. this is one of the best parts of the film, when bobby's love for carol and ted's love help him up the hill.

  • @scuarval that's not entirely true in the novel she's alive under a different name :)

  • :40 Director mistake, the name's still there.
