same problems here... how about a little how to video of you dragging it in... obviously there's a simple step you think is obvious and we are missing... looks cool... so what i am doing (latest live and max on a mac) is that i create an audio track, drag in a filter effect (live native not a max effect) and then try to drag in your MotionMod from the file browser... nope. WONT LET ME DO IT ON AN AUDIO TRACK. when i do it on a midi track with a midi instrument it does not populate the list

I can select the 'target device' but I don't get anything in the 'target parameter' ?
its just blank

hmmm... maybe make sure the device you want to control is created before you drag in motion mod. it populates the list of devices when it loads. if it's a vst you're trying to control you might need to use the configure function to allow access to the parameters. other than that... maybe make sure you're running the latest versions of live and max. what system are you running?

is there a tutorial on how to get motionmod setup properly?

@sapience7 sorry, no tutorial as of yet. but if you're having trouble getting it going, start by adjusting the threshold while providing the camera with lots of movement. if you're still not getting any white pixels then try adjusting your OS's settings making sure the video device you want to use is set as the default.
The other settings, curve scale and offset are there to adjust the output value eg 0 to 127 for most parameters. hope that helps.
