Always amazes me how quick the wing lifts from the ground.

It looks like a wonderful soaring machine, specially under very light thermal conditions. I would like to see a video where the Alatus AL-12 is soaring gracefully along a mountain slope.

How much does this sailplane cost?

@ajony Depends if the Alatus would fall in the FAR103 category... If it qualifies, then you don't, just training. But if it fails the FAR103, then you'd have to have a sport pilot's license...

I'm talking from a neophyte perspective. I want to try this this Summer (w/a tow plane). It looks like it barely has enough oomph to get it done. Datz all I'z sayin.
