@kgmakc99 His bass is tuned F#, B, E, A, a common tuning for solos like this piece.

@Doublebasscore Hey i was wondering-when i try to play the bass clef notes on my bass, it is not the same pitch as it is in the recording....??? Help! Thanks :)
-
whats the best edition of this to buy with the right corrections?
-
@bbates777 You're right. The only thing is that this is the original score that was written by Koussevitzky, and not edited by anyone. Just taken off of the original and put onto better paper.

@tdg515 well actually Mr Clever Clogs, I picked this up when I was in Solo Tuning also. Or maybe, according to your theory the G# is the only correct note in the whole piece.
-
@bbates777 I agree with the errors but listening to Gary Karr won't decipher the note that should be there. Mr. Karr is playing in Solo Tuning, which means everything is up a whole step from what is being read. In reality, if you are hearing him play a G# then the note should be an F#.

Just noticed, this score still has the errors found on the International Music Company score (Fred Zimmerman): 10 bars/measures after the second Alla Breve, second note should be a G#; 2 bars/measures later, second note should be a D#. Don't believe me? Check the piano part, listen to Gary Karr.
