JUMBO FRESNEL LENS 1.9 Kilowatt SNEAK PREVIEW LARGEST LENS

This is the largest crystal clear Fresnel Lens I have ever personally seen. It is just under 2 sq meters total and measures a whopping 60" x 48". The concentration factor is close to 3000:1 I recored temperatures in excess of 3000f in 5 seconds without proper focus. I planned a video today but the rain came. Hopefully tomorrow we can play:-)

I just scored a sweet 33''x25'' lens from a real old skool projection TV. Would you happen to know how much power this will potentially have ?? The lens has a sticker on the edge that says ACRYLENS JAPAN 027863 ?

You have a rare barn Burner! TREAT IT WELL AND USE CAUTION! It is the strongest made. They are Out of Business, There were very few Acrylens Made.

Yep, She is a beauty, I tried it out today It has a focal length of approx. 36", draws a nice little 1/2'' bead and burns holes clean through 1/8" steel plate in about 10 secs. I also live in MA so the sun is still pretty low in the sky.
