Before Philip Glass' Candyman and before Howard Shore's Silence of the Lambs, there was MARC SHAIMAN'S MISERY!

Indeed, it has been my second fave King movie since i was 9 when i saw this 2 times in theaters and became one of my faves. Kathy Bates was terrific and scary in this but scarier when she was naked in About Schmidt (*Shudders at the scary scene from that movie despite it was great*)
