Green Phlegm

'Ask Dr. Mona': Coughing up green gobs of goo? Ew. What is this, and how can I relieve symptoms until I can see a Doctor? I have a deep, chest, bronchitis sounding cough. The phlegm produced is thick and dark yellow to greenish. I have a runny nose, but am not really sneezing. There is pressure in my chest, and I am having difficulty breathing. I don't sleep well b/c I am coughing so hard, and occasionally have coughed up blood and/or vomited due to the intensity. I have pressure in the area behind/around my eyes and nose. Also, I had these symptoms a while back, and thought it was just the common cold. It has been on and off for about 1 1/2 months. I would go to a doctor, but I do not have a primary care physician near my University. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions??

Eugh, I have green phlegm, it started with a dry nostril, now my throat feels crappy and my lungs feel wet on the inside no coughing but lately I have started the uncontrollable coughing fits.

blood in phlegm i only cough it up a litle in the morning rest of the day im fine help what is it ? its a small clot size and i always wake up with a sore throat ? what do you think it is ?

i got fluimucil. my doctor says it will help remove the substance either in my lungs or bronchus. at one point of time i think i spat out like 20 ml of green phlegm.

funny thing is the description for the video is what im having now. and what sucks is i got it when i was enlisted in the army 2 months back and its affecting my training bad!
