look, it's this simple.. the fact that a LOT of people think Polly has a beautiful voice means that if you post "she can't sing" instead of something like "her voice isn't my kinda thing" you're just showing your ignorance to the rest of us. as for this song, I think it's achingly beautiful. As far as the Tori Amos comparisons - she's a female pianist/singer/songwriter, other than that I'm not getting it! Tori's songs seem more fear/anger based (still great, but a completely different vibe).

And I'd love to have her touch on the piano, it's haunting.
