  • 5:00 omg myrung aso <3

  • @impulsive2urge All i know is that this film is a garbage, a copycat of Psycho in 1960's. We pay to see movies.

  • I am asian and I agree that hitting a child physically should not be an excuse for disciplining him or her

  • Verbal abuse and Physical abuse are not disciplines...............simply ABUSE!!!!

  • back in the days, parents in the p.i. punish kids. i myself got punish by my father. it sucks! and i wouldn't do such a thing to my own kids. nowadays though, civilize pinoys don't punish like they used to. may bantay bata na.

  • I think judging all american and british kids as disrespectful and immoral is unfair. It is also unfair to judge that all asians are abusive when not all are into slapping their kids. I agree with impulsive2urge that child discipline should be a 24/7 task of both parents. A good foundation is laid through this. However, the bible talks about spanking as well. Proverbs 13:24,22:15,23:13-15.

But be warned that the bible also warns about abusive spanking Proverbs19:18

  • I respect your opinion. I have never been slapped by my parent, but I got discipline by my parents a lot. Spanking but not punching. I never hated my parents for disciplining me because I turned out to be a decent and well-grounded person.

  • @mebite98

We'll that's wrong reasoning my friend. If that is acceptable and humane, then people will always say "hey i'm a filipino i can slap my child if he committed a mistake".

Just like people in Africa where they let their young underage children work for other families and be treated like slaves due to poverty. And for them that's just "right" because it's their "culture".

See? It doesn't mean that an accepted culture in a country is always right. Think.

  • @tasdiva

That's abusive for me whatever your opinion is. There are other ways my friend. Slapping is the laziest and instant way to relieve your anger towards your son's mistake. If you're a responsible parent you will choose the best option to discipline your child. What does slapping your child give you? Relief of your anger?

Being right should not be bounded by culture, there is a single equation for what is right and wrong.
