Last presidential election, then Senator Obama ran a historical campaign. The desire for change in America made Obama a pop culture icon. Then, Obama made a promise to change the world, but for many of his supporters he has fallen short. Now many of Obama supporters have had their dreams for change shattered and voters seem more turned off by other candidates. Marina Portnaya takes a look at what made many Obama's supporters turn their backs on the current president.

I distrust candidates supported by money-grubbers and sexist pigs. I distrust all "leaders" for good reason. Ron Paul supporters want private organizations to take over the care of the young, sick and poor. Many helping professionals have seen where that leads. Abandoning our most vulnerable citizens to capitalist wolves in sheeps' clothing - in schools, prisons, hospitals, old age homes, foster "care" and adoption - solves nothing. It results in terrible abuse, corruption and cover-ups.
