A video recorded before the Katrina victims were evacuated from New Orleans to the Astrodome. At this time the people that chose to stay were still at the Superdome and the convention center.
Before the flaming starts, let me say that I really lean right and I really don't like Cooper that much but it was just awesome to see someone bitch out a leader for their lack of concern over those victims.

It was 5 days before anything was done - how would YOU like to have your gov't ignore you while ppl are rotting in the fucking street? Anderson was the ONLY reporter doing his job, he's a HERO in New Orleans. I'd LOVE to see you go to the middle of the French Quarter and say this shit!

I aspire to someday be like him. He's so calm, cool and collected but he really does get passionate about subjects like this. He's my idol and I was on his show Jan.12! :)

I just read about this in his memoir. He is an amazing man and honestly, I admire him so much. If I had what it takes to be a journalist I would go into it.
