Why design clothes for the bottom 2% of the population? If the clothes just look good on skinny people, you're the designer, you have the power to change that. Design it to look good on bigger people! If you can't, then you're not a good designer...

Personally, I've wondered if designers favor super thin models because so many of them are gay men. That is, feminine curves don't interest them.

@mcoordinator its not possible for fat people to wear pucci cuz they only make up to a 4, if you go into a store most likely they only have a 2 as the biggest size, fat people would not look good in a cut out dress thats body conscious so yeah they would look like shit in a pucci dress, best fat people can do is a mono.

i love CK, Guess,michael kor...U can be a size 16 and still be fashionable and sexy. Life doesnt stop at size 2! We arent "just existing" jbc we arent born thin OR arent willing 2 skip desserts and spend a good portion of our lives in the gym &limiting our meals jbc our bodies dont naturally burn calories and fat like some fortunate folks.Gluttony is one thing but being a sz10- 16 shouldnt be viewed as FAT! Certainly there r limits 2 anything and thats an issue of Obesity.Sz 16 isnt obese!

@shotgunangel13 Nice thought BUT the average guy will date a skinny chick in a hot minute vs. that "curvy" girl..especially if his "boys" give him shi* abt that "fat girl"! Lets keep it real. Men cave 2 socialal pressures 2! Women diet themselves 2 death 2 be accepted &some men say "i like a woman with a little meat on her bones"..yet when push comes to shove...they go 4 the skinny or the second someone implies shes "chunky, chubby,etc." he starts 2 doubt her beauty...seen it a million times!

A woman (or a man) makes the clothes not the other way around! So really "no one wants 2 see a round woman.."? That designer really lives inside his own make believe world of fabulous excess and fantasy and you seem to be his target customer! Mainstream fashion will never feature plus sized&average models except as TOKENS. Sizes 00-4 r acceptable.The modeles in btwn,szs 6-10 shouldnt qualify as PLUS but they do bc they arent skin n bones.After size 12-14, u r considered FAT & PLUS-SIZED! We let designers dictate what is desirable & we never see ourselves on the runway.So what r they telling us?Give me ur money but ur body type is 2 unflattering 2 b seen modeling our designs?So why make them in my size?Why should i bother 2 buy them?
