  • @xXPlague1996Xx you seam racist lol.

  • I want that guy on my team.

  • Travel?

  • hops?

  • @jhimm You really want me to get rules lawyer-y on you, fine.

Rule XVI.A: "An infraction may only be called by a player on the infracted team who recognizes that it has occurred."

Rule XVI.H.1: "A foul can be called only by the fouled player."

Were you one of the players in the video? No? Then shut the fuck up.

  • I don't see how pointing out that the rules specifically make allowances for a certain amount of contact makes me a lawyer and I don't see how that somehow means I'm "distorting" the game.

It seems to me that you're the one who's twisting the rules to suit your vision of the game.

  • @jhimm And you forgot the second half of that same rule: "Some amount of incidental contact before, during, or immediately after the attempt often is unavoidable and is not a foul."

In both of the plays you mention contact only occurs almost simultaneously with him actually catching the disc.

There's also rule XVI.H.2: "Contact resulting from adjacent opposing players simultaneously vying for the same unoccupied position, is not in itself a foul."

  • @JokerSmilez2 You forgot to read XVI.H.3.b.1 "If a player contacts an opponent while the disc is in the air and thereby interferes with that opponent's attempt to make a play on the disc , that player has committed a receiving foul." On both the play at 0:30 and 0:50 he prevents a play on the disc, in the former case by knocking them over, and in the later by climbing onto his head.

If SotG were not an alien concept to Gen Y players, we wouldn't be even discussing it.
