Nora og Solveig er tilbake i fjellheimen hvor de hadde en traumatisk opplevelse to år tilbake. I stedet for å dele og være tilstede i det vonde sammen med Solveig, har Nora lukket seg for henne og holdt det på avstand.

Nora and Solveig returns to the mountain where they had a traumatic experience two years ago. Instead of sharing and be present in the pain alongside Solveig, Nora has shut down and kept her at a distance.
Solveig initiated this painful trip into the wild and beautiful landscape, where their relationship is further put to the test.

The Mountain is a film about grief and reconciliation, where we experience their deep wounds, shame and despair. It is also about hope and just how far people are willing to go for oneanother, and the battles you fight together or the ones you have to fight alone.
