I got this Microwave Oven Transformer from a friend. I sawed off the old HIGH VOLTAGE secondary winding, and replaced it by winding car jumper cable 5 times around the old core. This new design is known as a HIGH CURRENT LOW VOLTAGE Setup. The voltage is only about 4.76 Volts AC. The current is a whopping 500+ amperes. I can't measure the current for sure, because I don't have a clamp on current meter.

  • hum hum hum hum hum ummmm hum hum.....

  • Cool now burn your dick off

  • If you wind your secondary coils neater and tighter you will reduce the noise from the modified M.O.T , give it a go :)

  • if i could suggest anything, i would have to say shorten the leads going to the clamps. theres alot of loss right there and heating. try to make them as short as possible, like 3 feet or so.
