Big Sur Moon is a composition written and performed by Buckethead from his 1998 album Colma. Buckethead recorded this song originally with an acoustic guitar, but performs this song mostly live with an electric guitar on a clean channel with delay. However, he performed this song live with an acoustic guitar on March 4, 1998 at the Virgin Megastore in San Francisco. Also, Buckethead is known to play songs differently live from his original compositions and improvise. A good example of this was when he performed on 4/5/05 at WTTW Studios, Chicago, IL; and date aired for PBS 7/13/06 with Bill Laswell's PBS Soundstage (Axiom Sound System Musical Freezone) and played the original composition differently live from the recorded version.
Buckethead is heavily influenced by Nicolas Slonimsky's Thesaurus of Scales and Melodic Patterns and has used this to compose and phrase his own original ideas. No one plays practically every style and then some and reinvents themselves constantly such as he. Buckethead is the Picasso of guitar: an innovator, sonic poet and traveler into the unknown spheres of imagination. His music is totally refreshing, deeply original and comprises many styles and dimensions; but his hands, heart and imagination are what pours out into his music.
"If you find your truth, you must follow it. You could find it in a paper bag, or in a statue, or in a slaughterhouse; you might find it dangling somewhere. People might say, "What the heck are you doing?" But it's OK if they don't understand. And if you follow it, stay true to it, and respect it, you could be in store for the greatest journey you could ever imagine." -Buckethead

@kirkLeadGuitar wow! man thank you very much! only a small detail, the twin delay time is not in the middle (501 ms), it is actually 288 ms (actually 290 ms but it is very difficult to put it xD) the rest is perfect, thank you very much again!
