@mrizos just to let you know matt, you can set kaspersky internet security or kaspersky PURE to let it pop it into untrusted always ! no matter how harmless or harmful it will land in untrusted until you come and put it in trusted ! :)

The H.I.P system is good I use KIS and it uses a HIP system that places all applications into categories of "trusted", "Low restricted" "High restricted" and "untrusted". This all great but I have seen my KIS program put malicious applications into the low restricted category when KIS could not detected what was in the file obviously because KIS had no signatures to detect it.

Yeah, KIS is trying to guess which could be dangerous (as you have observed). DefenseWall just says..."I don't trust ANYTHING that's downloaded unless someone makes it trusted". Untrusted applications can't do anything.

I test anti-malware software at work and am not too impressed with KIS09. It killed around 80% of the malware but I noticed in the KIS Firewall that it actually allowed some malware processes and labled them as safe and allowed them! Personally, out of all the security suites on the market today, I'd say the Norton Internet Security 2009 (Very fast now!) or Trend Internet Security 2009 (much slower than NIS09 but still very good) are two of the best. excellent reviews mrizos.. thanks!
