Should we have regulation on the financial markets so that the fed does not have to get involved. If there is a financial crisis, though it is not the fed's job, people have come to expect that fed will bail'em out. This is too easy for the financial market to suck up too much risk. In a way, they are imposing all the risk on fed and sending the negative risks down to common people as losses and economic downturn. So why not regulate the financial markets?
