http://www.tm.org Maharishi explains how "life is not meant to be a struggle." Whereas Macolm Muggeridge believes that there must be some restraint and restrictions for spiritual development.

Muggeridge: When I was young and foolish and a sensual man I indulged freely in sorts of appetites and thereby blinded myself.

Maharishi: No, no, no, that blinding what you say is not due to indulgence in the outer activity - no. It is due to lack of inner contact and outer activity, life has to be in the outer activity only it must be supplemented with the inner contact... Life is a struggle as long as it is not supplemented with the eternal freedom of Being.

  • sharp intellect and endurance 20 minutes sould become more that you able to go in sleep like state when you meditate

  • It is true: need to practise only 20 minutes of morning and evening to achieve harmony in life. Blessings and gratitude to Maharishi and his teacher, Jai Guru Dev!

  • It is true: need to practise only 20 minutes of morning and evening to achieve harmony in life. Jai Guru Dev!

  • Another example of how the great practical wisdom of Bhagawat Geeta has been distorted and misrepresented. It took 50 years of untiring efforts by His Holiness MMY to undo the damage and disservice done to this greatest practical guide of how to live life successfully by just adding 20 minutes of morning and evening meditation followed by regular daily activity. Glory to Guru Dev and his equally illustrious follower HHMMY. Jai Guru Dev.

  • another delicious round of enlightening statements
