The guy who directed this took everything out of context, outright lied and even used very early christian missionary translations of the quran - this says a lot about the motives behind the video, I don't even know where to begin! It's so sad that someone who watches this will think that this is what Islam is - it couldn't be further from the truth - may God forgive anyone who thinks that this is what Islam is, because they have been lied to! - I would reject Islam if it was this! very sad :(

This same argument applies to Catholics saying Protestantism is not Christianity and vice versa... Everybody thinks theirs is the real one, theirs is the true, while the rest stinks.

By whom? Just because some Muslims has a different version of islamic faith to your islamic faith doesnt mean theyre liar.

They too, could just as easily accuse you of telling a lie and simply say "I would reject Islam if your version of Islam is the real Islam."

This documentary is decent, but its far from the best source on getting a great detailed look at Islam. It is fair in showing the different ideals of Islam from many Muslim countries and it proves its a flexible religion, in this flexibility we see Islam makes many great offerings to people, yet at the same time its messages could be interpreted by evil people to do evil things, this is my humble opinion- from a Muslim.

@wilie123 : It seems to be more of how one chooses to interpret a religious text via a modern interpreter. Which as this doc said, is interpreted several very different ways. That's why there are the Suni's, Sufi's, Shiites etc....And this text was written in an ancient language that most Muslims can't even read. Same with the bible.
