This reminds me of how a beetle or ant walks, and while it may look a little odd at first, it IS the most natural way for the Xanthos to move (considering the way it's put together and the number of joints in its legs).

cool mech

Is... that a Xanthos?

well, if derk goes to a 2 speed animation, that would be a pretty good trot, but for walk you'd have to move one leg at a time, or alternate, for stability, then bts would look better with quads.

Whoa, that was excellent. I wish MW4 had some 4-legged 'Mechs in it.

Wow, good job.

That's pretty goood. Looks almost organic.

A walk animation has 1 leg on the ground at all times, (or two legs for a 4 legged beast).
In a run or trot animation there is a point where all the legs are off the ground at the same time.
Don't worry, this will look good at a range of speeds.

Thanks, I'm lucky with this design because it has so many segments in the legs, allows for a very smooth and lifelike animation.
I modeled it's movements on some lizards I used to have as a kid.
