@Myra1991JR The dixie chicks are liberal and they were an influence on Carrie growing up, she's covered a few of their songs on her demo's, I'm sure she's well aware of the consequences of getting caught up in politics and that taking a toll on you just doing your music. If you're there to make music then you're there to make music.

@Myra1991JR sorry to inform you but carrie has already been past being the great vocalist. she stands right next to martina mcbride and celine and all the other powerhouse vocalists in history. singers that I've just mentioned have readily acknowledged as well as countless others. if you don't hear or see that suddenly, FINE just don't go BSing carrie around.

@Myra1991JR God/Jesus are like their saviours or something (I think). I dunno, I'm not religious but they believe he created them and the world and whatnot so obviously he deserves to be thanked. You're Christian, you should understand! Carrie doesn't cry at every award show, but so what if she's emotional, it shows she is appreciative and that it truly means something to her. As for why God is treating her "this way", I think you should ask yourself why you're treating her the way you are now.
