Maybe, but in this mod they are called The Roman empire. Or East Roman Empire, something like that.

@Atreas40000 Actualy they called them Romans and Greeks but for example most of other peoples that dealing with them called them Romans such as Muslim for example. But what matters the most is their own people and Byzantines called themselfs Romans so they are Romans

@123DROCK they were indeed calling themselves romans but....in Greek. The language of the people of the Eastern Empire was Greek, something that forced the Emperor Justinian ( a native Latin speaker) to start legislating in Greek with his novelae/νεαραί laws. Gradually, the language of the administration of the Empire became Greek as well with the reforms of the Emperor Heraclios almost two centuries later... (he even changed his title from Imperator to Vasileus (Κing in greek)
