Texas DPS Trooper makes DWI Arrest - Raw footage (edited down)

A DWI today will cost you around $17,000 by the time you factor in bond, court costs, fines, attorneys fees, restitution (if any), time lost from work, ongoing mandatory DWI state classes, insurance rate hike, and other factors.

@tharock220 I know right? I've never ever had a DUI or DWI, buyt, if I did, getting arrested and taken to jail and posting a bond would be a huge wake up call and enough conviction for me. I sure wouldnt want it on my record. Dont blow. And DONT answer questions. Most officers are always miked up and camera is rolling. The chances of the case being dismissed is 5 times greater if you remain silent and dont blow.

@tharock220 Maybe he is a moron, then again maybe he isn't. If he wasn't respectful and truthful the Trooper would have still been able to arrest him based on the evidence. There is also the fact that the Trooper could have slapped a few other fines on him as well. He could have gotten a fine for driving the wrong way down that one way street. At this rate he only gets a DWI. He could also be one who tells the truth when he's drunk. My bro-in-law is that way.
