I know they are at Royal (although not when they start in Year 7 which is actually 11-12 year olds!) - I was on about your average 10 year old RAD Grade 5 not the Vaganova!!! My initial point was that this is higher standard than RAD Grade 5 and I was asking which syllabus it was!

erm....look at vaganova or china,paris,even royal ballet students...they r in this kind of standard

Didn't think it could be RAD as my daughter is doing some Advanced 1 stuff and says this is more like that! I guess that at Beijing Dance Academy they would be older before they did this as I can't see many 10 year olds being at this standard!! It is lovely. x

this is the beijing dance academy syllabus..by the way i used to do rad..i think rad just emphasize too much of safety dancing....they make the syllabus too easy..sometime i think is too slow....compare to other syllabus

woah. that is certainly too hard for rad grade 5 - i believe we don't have pointe in graded exams. this girl sure has great balance.
