Michelle has grown tremendously from this recording. Her confidence, resonance, control and clarity in particular are much improved from 2001.
I'd love to hear what she would do to this song today

@MultiRoman5 her voice is deffinatly unique hands down! but i have sang for quite a while and she is deffinatly a 2nd Soprano but she can sing in the range of a 1st Alto. either way she can get down

I think everyone needs to just appreciate the song. Honestly of all people Michelle doesn't have the best voice. but everyone has their personal opinion so bashing that one person for sharing their opinion just doesn't make sense.
and i would just like to add that this arrangement is amazing.

@HildaMcFumble She has gotten better. This was in 2001, she was 21 then. It's NOW 2011, she will be 31...Her voice has grown a whole lot since then.
