@bigmarty11288 Buddy Holly was with The Crickets. After Buddy died, Sunny Curtis (one of Buddy's old friends from Lubbock) became the lead singer for The Crickets and then wrote I Fought The Law. Later (in the 60s) Bobby Fuller (who was inspired by Buddy Holly) did a very popular cover of I Fought The Law. After that many other versions of this song came out, like: The Clash. Green Day. Dead Kennedy's. etc.
