"Villa were instrumental of the formation of 'Small Heath Alliance', later to become Birmingham City, we gave you loads of financial support and even let you use our training facilities" LMAO. That's the biggest pile of shit I have heard. Along the lines of us stealing Keep Right On from Ipswich despite singing it in the 1950's while Ipswich sung it for a bit in the 1970's. What utter tripe!
As for us getting relegated, you better focus on your own pile of useless shite first!
What a load of rubbish below. Villa were instrumental of the formation of 'Small Heath Alliance', later to become Birmingham City, we gave you loads of financial support and even let you use our training facilities. BCFC is like the ungrateful bastard child.
Can't wait to see your horrible brand of negative football punished with the relegation you deserve. l
@DavoBirmingham He was great at Liverpool. I believe it takes a while for manager to click with the team. Gardner would be a big loss for you, not good enough for Villa, but great for Birmingham.
@Cupcake1384 Tho I have a feeling that NPZ4 is a rabid Villa hater who doesn't have a single Vile fan among his friends, I echo your sentiments. I'd rather see people in the Midlands support Villa than Man U or Chelsea. I respect Villa fans enough to talk w/ them. Plastic Mancs and cockneys don't deserve to be addressed, they're an embarrassment. Blues = Bham's team. Villa = Midlands' team. Man City = Manchester's team. Man U = morons' team.
@Cupcake1384 It's the biggest game in at least 8 years, maybe longer. Whoever wins will hold bragging rights for a long time. Your boys have some injuries but to be honest I'd rather Heskey and Carew were fit to play. We could be missing Gardner and he's been one of our most important players for the last 18 months. Wouldn't be so sure that you're gonna start rocketing up the table. Not sure what Houllier has done thus far to merit being called a great manager.
@nonplayerzealot4 As i will say again, it's not about the fans, at the end of the day it's about the football.
It's true that Birmingham have many lower class citizens as fans. Villa may attract fans outside the city but Villa is a midlands team, and i know some supporters from Reddich and they're the best, most loyal fans i've ever known. It may not be considered as Birmingham, but it's close enough.
Villa may be low in the table at the moment but i'm pretty confident they will do alot better, maybe not this season, but the youth we've got and the great manager, next season will be our season.
And you're right, I'm looking forward o Dec 1st so much, you're very lucky to have it at St Andrews because a win for you at Villa park would be a miracle. I'm going to be behind the Villa boys, but if you look at our injury list, the Blues may clinch a win.
@nonplayerzealot4 Great point, NPZ. Now that I think about it, Blues really are Birmingham's team, and it's not even close. Villa do draw a lot of fans from outside of Brum, but mostly they're just fags who are attracted to the team colours.
