  • very nice and instructive! what is she using instead of fish-skin? i can't get the name of the tape...

  • Anne uses regular plastic wrap that you would use for covering food - 1 1/2 to 2 cm cut off the end of a roll. Works well for sealing the reed and sticks to itself when wrapped tightly.

  • @Studio22Productions Thanks alot!-seems perfect material to use, especially the thinnest one! She is so inspiring: to see how patiently she cultivated this craft that doesn't just use a procedure but highly relies on sensing and feeling.

I started to play the oboe only recently but had been making a few reeds for bombardes and bagpipe and it made me laugh thinking that she'd get a headache if she sees the way I make the reeds --haha (they stil ply somehow :D )

  • @hallobaaaby Thanks for your comments, I'll pass them on to Anne. I'm sure she'll appreciate them!
