Hands down, the HX1000w is one of the best, if not THE Best, PSU in the 1000w bracket.
Primo parts, high efficiency and looks great to boot. I hear that it's actually a modified 1200w ChannelWell PSU that's been downgraded to maintain top performance. For the price and performance, nothing comes close.

@victorwong08 Depends on the other stuff in your machine, and while it probably is enough, I'd go for a 1,200 Watt just in case.

Guys u better get an Enermax...all Corsairs are GREAT..just this HX 1000 Model NOT...realy not...Look my vid to see REAL Quality of an Enermax PSU...also klick at my name 2 see why this Corsair HX 1000 is Realy bad!

this psu is suppose to be labeled as 1500w but the manufacturers decided to put 1k to pass the standards and get 0ver 80% effeciency rating..@ overload around 1100 the psu won't die and effeciency drops,plus the advantage over the thermaltake 1500w is that corsair has all solid capacitors compare to thermaltake on selected v+ rails...10/10 review...
