  • Hands down, the HX1000w is one of the best, if not THE Best, PSU in the 1000w bracket.

Primo parts, high efficiency and looks great to boot. I hear that it's actually a modified 1200w ChannelWell PSU that's been downgraded to maintain top performance. For the price and performance, nothing comes close.

  • It never ceases to amaze me that you Americans still divide people up into Black and White populations even when you are a combined, none-racist country..

Whats the point in doing this?

Get over it America, change you're ways and thinking on this subject.

  • @victorwong08 Depends on the other stuff in your machine, and while it probably is enough, I'd go for a 1,200 Watt just in case.

  • Guys u better get an Enermax...all Corsairs are GREAT..just this HX 1000 Model NOT...realy not...Look my vid to see REAL Quality of an Enermax PSU...also klick at my name 2 see why this Corsair HX 1000 is Realy bad!

  • yeah its enough

  • Hey brother. My Corsair Powersupply 1000W fan speed is all time 1800RPM can i adjust PSU fan speed?

  • thx :D

  • Yep!

  • thx

  • enough to run 3xway sli with gtx 285?

  • why is it not recomended

  • this psu is suppose to be labeled as 1500w but the manufacturers decided to put 1k to pass the standards and get 0ver 80% effeciency rating..@ overload around 1100 the psu won't die and effeciency drops, plus the advantage over the thermaltake 1500w is that corsair has all solid capacitors compare to thermaltake on selected v+ rails...10/10 review...
