  • Wow, ive never heard something more true. Good Job!!

  • Maddam I have not disappeared. I am a very tiny germ, a rare disase. And you caught me MIMM!

  • WRONG! Our founding fathers were not religious.

I am not and don't have the patience to educate ignorant people on what the history of our country is.

Anyway. there is no freedom of religion in the U.S because Bible thumpers can't keep their bs religion to themselves and try to force everyone to believe the same way they do.

It's sad when people are dying and people are being oppressed because a mass number of people believe in a talking snake and talking burning bushes.

  • I am not sure doing away with public schooling that great of an idea, since it is what makes this country great- free education. But I do agree with you on many points. The whole issue is just a big mess and I think there is very little we can do to stop it, sorry for my bad grammar on my last comment!

  • Well, personally I think public schools should be done away with. I believe people should have a choice where to send their children. Why should your money go to support a school in which you believe the teachings are bad?

I don't think tax money should go to fund education, because government seems to always seems to DICTATE where your child WILL go and what they will learn.

But if we are going to be taxed for education, then there should be a voucher system so people have choice.

  • My school actively promotes Christianity over other religions. I think it is quite hypocritical that we have Meet at the Pole day, prayer services, and Worship services IN THE SCHOOL. I got to public so what is going on there? I now know there is NO SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE.

  • Now that doesnt mean you HAVE to worship Jesus. But what it does mean is that I cant just shoot you for no reason, you cant shoot me for no reason, cause the God gave you the right to life and forbid murder. SO not even the government can come in and just kill you for no reason. No one can just steal your property.Basically, the founders said you can know who God is,therefore know your rights, and government s are made to protect those rights, and if they dont you are to get rid of that government.

  • Freedom of religion as our Founding Fathers defined it was the same as saying "Freedom of Denomination" because they believed only true religion came from the bible, but didnt want what happned in England to go on in AMerica where just because one denomination differs from the other, they would get into an eventual war.

It is silly to think absolute freedom of religion cause if someone lied on a jury stand and said "im a satanist, it's my religion therefore its ok" we'd have to accept that.
