  • I just received confirmation from Reggie a few days ago that I can share this news with everyone. SPOT IS WORKING ON A NEW CD!!!!!!! And from what I've heard of one new song so far with Chad singing lead vocals, this new CD may be even more incredible than their first one, which seems like an impossible statement! :)

  • Well, I haven't had sound on my computer for almost two years, but it finally kicked back in about a month ago and I don't know why. And today, I finally reinstalled Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 and Adobe Encore CS3 to wrap up this DVD project. My inspiration? Very encouraging news from Reggie a few days ago that may turn 2012 into a great year to be a Spot fan! :) I've already invested 100+ hours in this project, so I am going to complete this before Summer 2012 arrives if it kills me!!

  • An amazing song from an amazing band. I remember seeing them play in Fort Myers, FL back in '96. Did that 2-DVD set ever see the light of day?

  • It's still being worked on! Phil got about halfway through creating the documentary and then had to break for 1yr+ to work on some other projects. I am still waiting on Reggie to send me some bonus items for the live DVD, but I've also been having non-stop computer problems since about Dec 08. I have the Spot stuff backed up, but I've got to fix my probs before I get back to it. If I don't include any bonus materials, I could release the single live DVD by itself once I am back up & running.

  • God I miss these guys. I walked around the corner at my old house in Denton, TX to watch them at Rick's many years ago. Wish I would have known about this reunion show.

  • I used to LOVE Reggie playing Milk Cow Blues with my Dad Jim Smith on Steel. I was about 13, I'm 37 now

  • It sounds like it will be a really wonderful tribute to the group. Please keep me in the loop on your progress!

  • Like a lot of Spot fans, I lived in Dallas at the time of their first CD release. Over 10 years later, this CD is STILL one of my favorites of ANY band, not just "local" stuff. Chad's guitar is amazing. The melodies & harmonies are still 'fresh' to this day. Love it.

  • oooohhhh! Yeeeaaaah! been searching for this song since 2000! Been jamming Moon, June, Spoon since then! Q102! You know what I mean!

  • What a great song! I remember first hearing it on a CMJ New Music Monthly CD sampler many moons ago... I still listen to my 12" blue/white marbled wax promo with "Horse's Head" on it :)
