Another detail: I imagine that, at the end of this track, I can hear the sound of the lead out groove of a old shellac 78 rpm disc.

For me it's very clear that Charles Dodge recorded a male voice too closer at the microphone...but it was the author voice?. What were the phrases recorded by Dodge?. I refuse to believe it was a folly as "a man sitting in a CAFETIRIA". What kind of computer processed the male voice, if at that time did not exist sound cards or computer audio formats as wav, aac or mp3?
