This is good, most people that do covers on youtube normally make the music too loud or the guitar too loud but this is like perfect where you can actually hear the guitar that you're playing and still hear the background song, nice job.

haha the beggining part is only 55555 555555 55555555, you get my point, im pretty sure he can play it, and you are right about the neck pickup situation. i dont even use mine

1. The camera would not change the tone that drasticly, n make it sound that way, majority of other videos people using cams with probebly the same mic quality sound alot better tonaly.

2. You can hear he is using his neck pick up, which is completely wrong for tonal reasons and output reasons

3. both guitarists played the beggining part, and the only reason he hasnt played it that i can think of is he cant. and in my opinion he should learn the song fully before posting it on youtube.

1. There is a lead guitar and a rhythm guitar in August Burns Red. So if he's playing with the song, then you would be hearing 3 guitars through the output of the camera. Hence the tone may be off a tad.

2. The first part is probably played by the rhythm guitarist.
