When the episode of the Pocket Monsters Anime, "Dennou Senshi Porigon" (Cyber Warrior Porygon), aired in Japan in December, 1997, hundreds of children were taken to the hospital after experiencing seizures. Following this incident, Pokémon was taken off the air for a period of several months while an investigation into the incident was performed. During this time many wondered whether or not the anime would even be cancelled permanently.

This special "Problem Inspection Report" was broadcast when Pokémon resumed airing in April 1998, detailing the cause of the event.

Since I was unable to find any translated version, I decided to upload my translation here. I hope you will find it interesting and educational. The warning given at the end of the video now precedes all anime broadcast in Japan.

I claim no ownership of Pokémon. Pokémon is copyright Nintendo.
Translation and Subtitles by me.
