What is the prisoner's dilemma? And how does it relate to betting openers in sports? This video looks at the classic problem, and applies it to a recurring syndicate betting problem.

  • If the other professional gambler releases his tips, the following morning, well too bad, the subscribers may not be playing with an edge. However if both professional gamblers team up with one another and releases their tips at about the same time when the market has more liquidity and effiency associated with it, all the subscribers will benefit. Some scamming people will scam subscribers and they will not limit their customer numbers.

  • Syndicate betting is my favourite - there are some true professional gamblers in the world but other people are subscribed to their services. Generally most professional gamblers make money from their subscribers but they generally limit the number of customers to a fair extent. Syndicate betting is when the bettors will release their tips to their subscribers. If one professional gambler releases his tips to his subscribers @ 10 pm, the prices will plummet when the subscribers start betting.
