Background Noise

This is a 2 minute story about a man trying to study in the library, but the background noise just gets too much.

I attended a 12 hour film course in January 2006, in my local library, in which we were given the opportunity to make 3 short films.

This was my first ever attempt at a script, a storyboard, at directing, (and editing anything other than vacation footage).

The crew had no experience, the budget was zero and the equipment was non-professional... and the film had to be no longer than 2 minutes. Oh and it had to be ready by a deadline for a local film festival!

With all that taken into account, I'm really proud of the result.

The cinematography of this short film is down to my equally inexperienced friend John Yee.
