Koichi seems like a busy guy no a days

Nope, They're narrowing it down.
There were some really awesome entries I just wish GCSEs and coursework weren't so time-consuming =P

Koichi I now have unlimited respect for you and all other people who can sit and talk to their webcam and not sound like an idiot. XD geez that was harder than I thought it would be.

Hey dude this is hilarious "Koichi". Everyone who posted is saying "I plan to go to Japan someday" or "I will be moving to Japan when I get older" with no specifications. It's a load of bullshit. Bunch of people want to learn this not because they want to know the language nor because they actually like the culture. AT least that's how it is at my school. T_T

I'd enter, but I don't win contests, and I'd be a little emoer when I lost. D=
Good luck to everyone entering!

to anyone who is actually planning on trying to become fluent: realize that edufire's japanese teachers have useful knowledge which might help you with your language skills, but most of them are not fluent
edufire may prove helpful, but make sure not to limit yourself to them, and try to branch out and speak to fluent speakers, through outlets such as Skype
remember, nothing is better than a native speaker
..(and kouichi talks like a textbook)..
..(don't tell him i said that)...
:P

well, only on my videos :) The way I speak is very branding related, and not very much how I speak Japanese when used in casual situations. I like to think I'm more formal than a textbook, too :P

also, even if most are not 'fluent speakers,' I have a list of about 20 people I can refer anyone to who ARE native Japanese speakers on eduFire, which shouldn't take away from a lot of the other teachers, who are very good at what they do. This is why there is a rating system on the site, as well as information about people.
