Are Maine values, the one promoted by gay activits. They already stole the rainbow, they stole the civil rights movement, now they want to steal our values so they can steal marriage. the video is highly deceptive and misleading. Would you rather a child stay in a foster home than be adopted? I'm pretty certain that a child loves 2 people who love each other and crete a good home for that child. Children can understand this concept and will not be scarred for life by having two dads. one more interesting fact about the studies you mentioned is that they are only or mainly based in American jurisprudence. the fact is in Australia there are studies or a that shows significant differences in comparisons to same sex couples and two biological married parents that reflect findings that members of the APA and APP mentioned about sexual and gender identity

the studies your referring to mainly and only compare same sex arrangements to heterosexual single parents, divorced, and cohabiting parents NOT two biological married parents and these comparisons are only done at a very young age. there are no studies done on the long term adult achievements of these children like education, jobs, etc. also, these studies happen to be extremely limited especially compared to what is yielded from heterosexual married parents versus all the other arrangments

Monica17N, this is a silly question, and one that is easily answered. The reason that you should not be allowed to marry cousins and brothers is that you are literally genetically endangering your kids. For every messed up recessive allele that a parent of a brother/sister relationship has, the child will have a one in four chance of expressing that disease. For first cousins that's one in sixteen. It's physically damaging to children. Gay marriage is only "supposedly" emotionally damaging.

Sorry Monica, but your question is REALLY stupid. Maybe you're young, I don't know. Society has placed certain restrictions on marrying of relatives due to health reasons (both mental and physical health). However, in some states it IS legal to marry your first cousin.  In other states this is illegal... Your quesion is beyond naive as to almost be silly...
