This is the heroic 25-man Naxxramas boss, Loatheb.
Loatheb is a simple boss and is quite easy, so long as your healers can crank out some serious AOE in a short period of time. Druids with Nourish and Priests with their aoe heal will be most useful.
Loatheb will use several skills.
Firstly, he's got Necrotic Aura. Every 20 seconds or so loatheb will use this aura, which makes all heals 100% ineffective. However, this debuff lasts only 17 seconds so you've got a 3 second window to get out all the heals you can possibly manage.
Luckily, Loatheb doesn't hit very hard on the tank so you've only really got to worry about his other spells.
The next spell is Deathbloom. He'll cast this about every 30 seconds. It does 400 nature damage per second for 5 seconds, and then "blooms" similar to lifebloom, only instead of healing you it hits you for an additional 1500 damage.
Next is Inevitable Doom. 2 minutes into the fight Loatheb will begin casting this spell, which inflicts 5,000 damage after ten seconds. He'll use this ability every 30 seconds until 5 minutes into the fight, when he'll begin casting it every 15 seconds. You can not dispell this, so just try to heal through it.
Finally, raid members can get the "fungal creep" debuff, which is actually beneficial, and will increase your critical strike chance by 50%. It also causes spells and abilities to generate no threat, and has a 2 minute duration. Loatheb summons spores every 30 seconds or so, and killing the spore allows 5 people within 10 yards to get this buff.
This boss is a dps race, which depends heavily on your healers' abilities to aoe heal very quickly. You'll only need one tank for this.
Since only 5 people can get the buff from the spores at a time, it is important to keep your rotation up so that everyone has a chance to get the buff as quickly as possible, and keep it for as long as possible. Your top dps should be the first to get the buff if possible.
It's a good idea to try and avoid letting your tank get the buff, because while 50% additional crit is nice, it will also greatly reduce his thread generating abilities.
The whole fight consists of the dps dpsing while getting the spores, the healers watching their debuff very very closely to make the most use of the 3-second window to heal as many people as possible, and the tank.... tanking.
It you have an aoe heal with a long cast time, it's a good idea to start casting it before the necrotic aura wears off. If it's a 3 second cast, begin casting 2 seconds before the aura wears off, then use the rest of the time to drop a flash heal.
Also, if some players get dangerously low on health, put the hot with the highest tick on them. If you put a rejuvenation on a party member, even though only one tick will get off in the 3 second window, that's an additional 2k hp that the player now has. You can do this with as many players as you can drop a hot on before the aura wears off, and when it does, just smash the wild growth or holy nova key.
If you're a priest and you're using prayer of mending, position yourself near the lowest health raid members and begin casting it 2 seconds early and the moment it finishes, drop an additional holy nova. It'll go a long way once you start taking those "inevitable doom" hits every 15 seconds.
Also, the priest bubble will work during the necrotic aura because it is not technically heal.
That's all you need to know for this boss.
