JR35 - How long does it take to get to the beach?

It's not always easy to tell from a map how long it takes to get to the beach from one of our oceanside homes. This home, located at 2813 S Memorial Ave, is literally less than a five-minute walk to the ocean.

There are two beach accesses to choose from: Barnes Street and Blackman Street. In this video, we go the Barnes Street way. Is the Blackman Street way shorter? We'll find out tomorrow!

We also discovered that many popular area attractions are within easy walking distance, including putt-putt, go karts, the YMCA, Tortuga's restaurant, two art galleries, two popular coffee shops, ice cream shop and a grocery store. You might just leave your car parked all week...
