Pike fishing Castle Kennedy Stranraer Galloway Scotland

Hooking into a huge Pike when fishing for trout on a 6ft spinning rod and 6lb line. For those that want to leave abusive comments please read on......
Its supposed to be a 100% wild trout only loch. I`m making a big deal out of it because .
1. Its a huge fish on light kit (no wire trace or huge rod)
2. I have no net big enough to land it (read above)
3. I`ve never saw a Pike or anything that size before in that loch (and i`ve fished it for 20 odd years).

Aye,remember it well,we thought yoiu had a huge fish on for about 1/2 hour and then this coal bag appeared.Whats happened to the White Loch,is it full of perch and pike now or are there still some good trout in it.

Great catch. I had a 28 pound pike on 20lb braid in march, and fuck me what a scrap. It mustv'e been a hell of a buzz hooking that fucker on 6lb line.
