One of my most favorite songs from the Detroit Sessions. Carolyn is most definitely TIMELESS. :-)

I'm new on her! Another great underrated motown artists!

Caroline Crawford one of the great voices of soul in history! Bohannon's first lady and producer of 2 amazing LP's from 1978 and 1979. She is a LEGEND!!!

Yes this is an excellent sound. Thanks to Ian Levine' working with such great acts I had the pleasure of seeing The Legends Of Motorcity tour at Manchester's Apollo. Carolyn Crawford, Marv Johnson, Syreeta, The Elgins, Jean, Scherrie and Lynda of The Supremes and Kim Weston. Loved every minute - what a great memory.

Thanks for posting. I am looking for a song by Ms. Crawford named "Coming on Strong". If anyone can post it I would love to hear it.

Since we're talking about favorite Carolyn Crawford songs...I guess it's asking too much to ever hear and see "When Someone's Good To You" hear on the tube...that would be wonderful if it ever happened...if I could find it I'd post it...

My friend, I love her dearly. A truly amazing person and an awesome voice.

You can certainly tell that a lot of love went into this spectacular song. Another that lives up to it's name. It is a timeless classic, sounding as fresh when I just listened to it as it has done on all the previous occasions. Though I have to say that the version here sounds a lot richer instrumentally than the version(s) that I have on vinyl and CD.

Yes, which is why I remixed and re-recorded a lot of my Motorcity favourites to make them sound more authentic. The best ever example of this was C.P. Spencer "This Man Needs You".
