Global Rugby participation is on the rise, and much of this growth is driven by emerging markets. The results of a MasterCard-commissioned report indicate that for the first time, Japan and the US rank in the top 10 countries by participation.
The report is the third in a series undertaken by the Centre for the International Business of Sport (CIBS) for MasterCard and examines the growth of Rugby in strategic and emerging markets.
