I thought I would do something special for my 50th video upload...

Custom-Relics.com heavy relic strat loaded with Custom-Relics.com Black1 Clone pickups plugged straight into the amp.

one of 25 two-rock John Mayer signature amps built. George Alessandro built the cabinet. Its exactly like one of Mayer's Celestion G-12 65 loaded 2x12 solid hardwood cabinets.

Best amp Ive ever played through.

  • Dude , i love the way your guitar is relic !!! where is it inspired from ?? :)

  • @hkeith133 That one was my own creation. Im glad you like it! If you go to our home page at custom-relics you can see the new owner of it jamming some eric johnson on it. Its pretty impressive!

  • Hi! Love the tone! Just wish I could buy that amp in the future!

But I was wondering about the guitar you're playing and the pickups. Are they any good? I'm still wondering if I'm going to buy them and put them in my American Standard! Or if I'm going to buy a guitar with them at custom-relics! Answer much appreciated! :)

  • @Rowyn Id get one at custom-relics. Check out my other two-rock video. Im playing another custom-relics black1 with the black1 clone pickups. Black1 clone pickups are the best single coils money can buy

  • wow man totally see where Mayer gets his tone from. You nailed it! How much do these two-rock amps go for?

  • @blok31092 8,000-10,000 used. The hardwood cabinet and g12-65 speakers are a lot of his tone too.

  • @benjkparker Not sure to be honest. Whatever came stock is still in there.

  • What brand of 6L6's are in the amp?

  • @TreyDee45 :-) I feel u. I also own a Fender supersonic 22 (thought i go for a "low" wattage one..) Already received a letter from neighbours few weeks later. But anyway, I will probably still go for the 35 thanks to your comments. Thank you!
