Doyle Engineering Bale Buggy,Fully Automatic,Every Round baler should have one....
Let us know what you think of the idea
It allows the baler to leave the bales off in pairs therefore speeding up the job..
See it at the Innovation Arena at the National Ploughing Championships 2011

  • Anymore thoughts or opinions on the bale buggy

  • very handy for the lads who use the double bale lifters..hard to see how it would cost €5,000 to make..what controls the realse of the bale off the buggy ?

  • @jaydee6830 It works very well on wrappers also. Well its around €4000 plus vat..The gate is plumbed into the door release and shuts again after bales are released.

  • yes very good idea and very handy indeed, but it could be hard to justify the amount of time it will take it to save you €5500

  • @aaron7610man It will suit some farmers and contractors and the cost would be justified..

  • very clever

  • @Eoinsk8er So simple I'm surprised it hasnt been developed before now..

  • incredibly innovative, brilliant

  • @johnwandersonagain thats fine saying the cost WOULD be justified but explain how

  • @johnwandersonagain i think its da job

  • handy yoalk but i dont see a lad paying that kinda money for it.

  • Fusion does that anyway so thats any major silage contractors cut out of the equation

  • Good idea but its awful dear like, must be made of gold

  • @johnwandersonagain several silage men saw it at ploughing

  • Brilliant idea. For the two-bale lifter this is a real time saver as well as saving hard dosh on fuel, running round the field into every corner. Be useful also on the hill, as you can keep one with you till it's level.

  • Savage idea but too pricey. I think u'll see many contractors fabricating their own version of this if the price doesn't come down. Well done though.
