Katie Couric Interview With Sarah Palin (Saturday Night Live

This is what Sarah Palin and the Republicans want for the US: a religious theocracy that relies on "prophets" and "oracles" for political advice. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!! Tina Fey reprised her role as Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live, again appearing as the Republican vice presidential candidate in an opening sketch.

Saturday nights show — the third of the season for the NBC comedy program — brought back the season premiere tandem of Fey and Amy Poehler, who opened the season with a memorable sketch featuring Fey as Palin and Poehler as Hillary Clinton.

This time around, Poehler played CBSs Katie Couric, parodying the interview with Palin earlier this week. Poehler, though, mostly played straight man to Fey, who ratcheted up her performance of Sen. John McCains running mate by satirizing her foreign affairs experience

"Barely 50%" is rather a lot, don't you think, when it comes to making political decisions that affect the lives of thousands? Especially when the person making those decisions (the 14th Dalai Lama) cannot be questioned and anyone who questions him gets falsely labelled as a Chinese sympathizer? Religion does indeed play a prominent role in Tibet -- it is entirely mixed with politics in a theocratic throw back to the middle ages. And I am not a Chinese person saying this, but a Westerner.

The U. S. gave up The Panama Canal territory while under Pres. Carter (Carter, who got spanked by Reagan). Was McCain born AFTER this fact, or was he born BEFORE this? (duh)

I would rather have Sarah Palin than the DL for VP, and that is really saying something, as she would be the most hopeless, scary VP ever. But at least she is not being hypocritical, pretending to be a champion of human rights abroad and persecuting her own people at home. The Dalai Lama, on the other hand, preaches tolerance and religious freedom and then bans a 400 year old religious practice based on the mutterings of an oracle (seen in the video).

Dalai Lama is a good choice for VP, but I do not think he is a U.S. citizen, so we have to rule him out.

The Dalai Lama has relied upon the strange mutterings of this spirit oracle shown here to decide that many thousands of his own Tibetan people can no longer practice their religion! He has banned the practice of Buddha Dorje Shugden -- a bit like the Pope banning the prayer of Saint Francis. He has expelled monks from monasteries and caused widespread ostracism and human rights abuses in lay society. Dalai Lama, lift this ban. Practice at home what you preach in the West -- religious freedom.

God's name has been invoked from the inception of our great nation...Sarah Palin doesn't want "oracles" leading our nation...nor do we want a US Senator who has accomplished NOTHING in his term as Senator, believes that killing babies is acceptable and wants us lay down our nuclear weapons (look up the video on you tube) Vote for Obama at our nations peril!
