I was purchasing some finely sliced italian sausage t'other day, and it occured to me; "Whats with this whole 'audience staring at the stage business? Arent we there for the music itself and not the spectacle?" Its detractive i suppose,and generates an idolatry of the creators and not the created; slotting into the whole western cult of the personality thing, perpetuating the self promoting ideology, which is what the dancefloor functions as the opposite of; its communal revelry, right?
