Rev Fred Phelps is one of the most notorious hate-mongers in the country. His Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) is best known for its homicidal hatred of gays and for picketing the funerals of dead US soldiers. In this amateur pseudo-documentary I expose some of the most atrocious deeds and propaganda of the WBC.

@zoroisabeast Homosexuality is condemned in several verses in the bible (I thought this was common knowledge! Are you even familiar with the bible?!?! lmao!!!) but the verses that the WBC quotes the most are Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13.

Many modern religous figures have adopted the notion that the bible is alegorical, but for those who think it is literally true, homosexuality is a sin and homosexuals should be put to death because that's what the bible LITERALLY says.

@zoroisabeast If someone believes that the bible is the "word of 'god'" then they have no choice but to take it seriously. Believers don't have the luxury of picking-and-choosing which parts they want to believe in: who are they to decide the word of “god”? You either believe in the buy-bull or you don't!! And if you believe in it then you have no choice but to believe that gays should be put to death because THAT IS WHAT THE BUY-BULL SAYS.

As appalling as it might be, Fred Phelps’ the one to blame. He’s the psychopath on top of this pyramid of hate. We can’t expect these people to “think outside the box”, to suddenly wake up - they all grew up in an environment where they hardly had access to normality, to social norms. The reality in which they evolve isn’t the reality we experience. When they say they’re right and we’re wrong they really believe it. You just can’t convince a cult member that he’s in the wrong, it’s impossible.
