  • I'd pay happily, if I could. YouTube does very nicely for those of us poorer peeps. Nothing beats live events, true, but the opportunity is in the ideas!

  • The 2009 TED conference is happening in Long Beach - registration there is $6,000. The simulcast Palm Springs event costs $3,750.
